Coordinator of Gifted Education Services – Sherique Ransby

Ms. Ransby has been in the education field for 12 years, and now serves as Drew’s coordinator of gifted education services. Previously, Ms. Ransby served at Drew for seven years as a first-grade teacher, second-grade teacher and lead teacher.

She has experience managing a chain of early childhood facilities in Michigan and Tennessee, working as a first-grade and lead teacher for an Edison School in Detroit and serving as an adjunct instructor for DeKalb Technical College in Clarkston, Ga. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College, and her master’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from New York University.
