Kindergarten to College Support

At Drew, students are guided from elementary school through their pivotal middle school years. But, the support does not end in eighth grade.

With Drew’s High School Connection Program, an advisor begins to talk to students about high school opportunities as early as sixth grade. Working one-on-one with students and their families, Drew’s high school advisor learns each student’s strengths and then helps find the best high school fit.

As a result, most Drew graduates attend either competitive Atlanta Public School magnet programs and charter schools offering concentrated studies in such areas as engineering and applied technology, communications, science and math, international studies and the performing arts, or selective private schools – frequently with significant financial assistance.

Creating Responsible, Educated & Working (CREW) Teens

Once in high school, Drew graduates receive out-of-school academic support to help them be successful and prepare for continuing education and careers. Through CREW Teens, a program offered at Drew, participants receive homework assistance and tutoring, standardized test preparation, leadership training, career counseling, college tours, technical assistance with college and financial aid applications, opportunities for community service and more.
