R.I.S.E., Drew Charter School's After School Program, is a comprehensive after school program for Pre-K through 5th grade students operating from 4:15PM to 6:00PM on regular school days. The program includes academic, recreational, and athletic activities which are designed to supplement and enrich students’ learning. During R.I.S.E, students are divided into groups by grade level to allow for interaction and participation in activities with their peers. Each week, students enrolled in R.I.S.E receive two days of academic support, two days of enrichment classes, and one day to engage in special projects with their peers. In the past, enrichment classes have included chess, cooking, yoga, dance, Lego, Spanish, musical theater, soccer, Minecraft, and TinkerScience. R.I.S.E. nurtures the curiosity of each child to enable growth in knowledge, and confidence in their unlimited capabilities.
