Elementary Academy

Where Lifelong Learning Begins

Drew's Elementary Academy nurtures curiosity into capability with a focus on laying the foundation and building core skills. Serving grades Pre-K to 5, we combine a robust literacy program with hands-on, interdisciplinary STEAM learning. Through annual year-long projects and "mini" PBLs (PBL stands for Project-based Learning), our students learn to present and problem-solve at an early age.

Paired with a rich world of enrichment activities, we make the first steps of the Drew academic journey truly unforgettable. From the very start, Drew eagles are already learning to spread their wings.

Student photo journalists are a common sight at Drew, where enrichment opportunities allow our students to explore many interests and discover new passions.

It is an honor to begin my 11th year as principal of the Elementary Academy, and I look forward to partnering with our incredible students, families, teachers, and staff as we continue to help every child grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

This year, our school community will be united by the theme One Drew. One Drew reflects our commitment to creating a connected K–12 experience where students, families, and staff feel a strong sense of belonging and purpose. ...
