Drew Charter School and The Georgia High School Association Athletics are committed to providing our students with a robust and competitive athletics program. All of the athletics offered encourage and facilitate teamwork, cooperation, and leadership, which we believe will provide our students a platform for success at school and beyond in their lives.
In only its sixth year as a high school, Drew' Charter School's Senior Academy has earned a reputation as a strong sports competitor, having already earned three state championships in Georgia-- the 2015 Boys Cross Country Class A Public Division State Championship; the 2017 Girls Tennis Class A Public Division State Championship; and the 2019 Boys Class A Public Division Golf State Championship.
At the middle school level, the Junior Academy Boys Basketball Team also won the 2018 City of Atlanta Middle School Championship, and the Boys Junior Academy baseball team won the City of Atlanta Middle School Championship two years in a row.
At Drew Charter School, athletics serves as an extension of the classroom where students begin learning life lessons around perseverance, teamwork, sportsmanship, humility and confidence on and off the playing field.
Announcements regarding interest meetings and try-outs for our Athletic Teams will be placed below and on Academy Calendars.
