SEL and Eagle Strong Students of the Month

Our SEL focus for August is Friendship. Throughout the month, students will dig into what being a good friend really looks like — in how they speak, how they act, and how they treat one another. At month's end, each homeroom will recognize one student who has shown up consistently as a strong friend to their peers.

At home, you can keep the conversation going. Ask your child about their friendships. Model kindness and empathy. Encourage them to really listen when others are talking. These small moments add up and together, we're helping our students build relationships that last well beyond this school year.

We'll also be naming our Eagle Strong Student of the Month, a scholar who brings our school values to life through leadership, resilience, positive behavior, and everyday excellence, in and out of the classroom.
