Enrolling at Drew Charter School

Thank you for your interest in Drew Charter School. Drew is a public charter school that serves students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade who reside in the Atlanta Public Schools district. All new students are enrolled through an annual admissions lottery. Seats are awarded by lottery in order of the school's enrollment priorities. 

Drew uses a weighted lottery to increase the likelihood of serving more students from economically disadvantaged families. This is in alignment with Drew’s strategic plan and charter, which aims to serve a mixed-income population. See Drew’s enrollment policies for additional information.

The 2026-2027 School Year Admissions Lottery

The lottery application window for the 2026-2027 school year is February 1st through 11:59 p.m. on April 30th. If you'd like your student to be included in Drew's 2026-2027 admissions lottery, click the link below to submit an online application.

All eligible applications received during this window will be included in the 2026-2027 admissions lottery on May 7th, 2026. The full lottery application schedule is available here. 

If you are a prospective parent/guardian and would like to learn more about Drew, please consider attending one of our prospective parent nights or attending a school tour. 

If you missed the 2025-2026 lottery but would like to add your student to the existing waitlist for the current school year, please contact us at enrollment@drewcharterschool.org.  Any eligible post-lottery applications will be placed at the end of their priority within the existing 2025-2026 waitlist in the order in which they are received.

Please note that the 2025-2026 waitlist will be vacated on the last day of school (May 21, 2026) and will NOT carry over to the next school year. Parents/guardians must submit a new application online for the 2026-2027 school year for their student to be included in the 2026-2027 admissions lottery.
