Enrolling at Drew Charter School
Thank you for your interest in Drew Charter School. Drew is a public charter school that serves students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade who reside in the Atlanta Public Schools district. New students are enrolled through an annual lottery application window. Seats are awarded by lottery in order of the school’s enrollment priorities.
Drew uses a weighted lottery to increase the likelihood of serving more students from economically disadvantaged families. This is in alignment with Drew’s strategic plan and charter, which aims to serve a mixed-income population. See Drew’s enrollment policies for additional information.
2023-2024 Lottery Application
All eligible applications that were received during the February 1st - April 30th application window were included an admissions lottery on May 4th, 2023.
If you missed the application deadline and are still interested in the 2023-2024 school year, you may submit a post-lottery application. All eligible post-lottery applications will be placed at the end of their priority within the existing 2023-2024 waitlist in the order in which they are received.
2023-2024 Lottery Results
Certified results of the 2023-2024 admissions lottery are available below. Each applicant is anonymously identified by a lottery identification number (ID). Depending on the communications preference you select when submitting your student's application, your student's ID number was emailed and/or texted to you on May 3rd. Acceptance and waitlist emails were sent out to all students included in the 2023-2024 lottery on May 10th. Acceptance emails contained detailed instructions for completing the enrollment process for all seated students.
CERTIFIED 2023-2024 LOTTERY RESULTS
After the initial enrollment period has ended, seats will begin to be offered to students on the waitlist on a rolling basis based on available space.
