Enrolling at Drew Charter School

Thank you for your interest in Drew Charter School. Drew is a public charter school that serves students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade who reside in the Atlanta Public Schools district. To be eligible to attend Drew, a parent/guardian of a prospective student must submit an application during the annual  lottery application window. Seats are awarded by lottery in order of the school’s enrollment priorities.

Drew uses a weighted lottery to increase the likelihood of serving more students from economically disadvantaged families. This is in alignment with Drew’s strategic plan and charter, which aims to serve a mixed-income population. See Drew’s enrollment policies for additional information.

2022-2023 School Year

The lottery application for the 2022-2023 school year closed on April 30, 2022. All eligible applications received during the application window were included in the 2022-2023 lottery on May 5th, 2022. There is currently a waitlist for all grades for the 2022-2023 school year. Parent/guardians may submit a post-lottery application to add their student to the waitlist. All eligible post-lottery applications will be placed at the end of their priority within the existing waitlist in the order in which they are received.

2023-2024 School Year
