Welcome! Drew Charter School is proud to maintain an in-house nutrition program, serving multiple hot and cold meal options daily for breakfast and lunch at a fee (see below).
Because Drew participates in the USDA National School Breakfast & Lunch Programs, any family can apply for free or reduced-price school meals. There is no fee to apply, and the process is confidential. We encourage all families to apply. Families who do not qualify for Free or Reduced-Priced meal benefits will be charged the full fee for any meals their students are served at school. Here is what you need to do:
Step 1
Create or update your school meal account at MyMealTime.com.
You will need to know each child's Student ID number. You can find this number in Infinite Campus. If you have a “New to Drew” student who recently completed enrollment, your student may not have been assigned a Student ID number, or the student record may not have yet transferred to Drew. If this occurs, you cannot create a meal account until the records are complete and corrected. Please send your child with lunch from home until your account is created.
Step 2
Complete the Federal Eligibility Application for Free & Reduced Meals online at mealtimeapps.com.
You are required to complete the application annually to receive this benefit. Free and Reduced Meal benefits are not retroactive. Applicants will be held responsible for any meal fees incurred before application approval. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Responses typically take 48 hours after you complete your application.

Step 3
Deposit funds to activate your student’s meal account. Note that school meals are not free. You must either pay the full price or qualify for the free or reduced-price meal benefit by completing the FEA process mentioned in Step 2. Click here to review our 2026-2027 Meal Charge Policy.
Submit a Special Diet Request Form for your student if they have special dietary needs.

We're thrilled to bring you a new tool for looking up what's on the Drew Dining menu! Families, students, staff, and guest diners can use the new system (Health-e Pro My School Menus) to view daily school meals, filter dietary preferences, check nutritional data, and much more.

Whether it's whole grains, fresh fruit, or protein-packed meals, school breakfast provides the energy your child needs to thrive. Get your breakfast in our school Nutrition Services from 7:15-8:15 a.m. daily.
Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Do Meals Cost?
- Students: $2.25 for breakfast, and $4.00 for lunch (new for 2026-2027)
- Adults: $3.25 for breakfast, and $6.25 for lunch (new for 2026-2027)
The Georgia State Board of Education has voted to cover the cost of reduced-priced meals for any student approved for the school year. Therefore, the reduced fee will be zero for those who qualify.
How Do I Qualify for Free or Reduced Priced Meals?
We encourage all families to apply for this benefit regardless of income. To apply online, click here.
My student needs a medical accommodation for meals or has a food allergy. What do I do?
Each year, parents/guardians are required to complete the School Nutrition Medical Statement & Diet Prescription for Meals at School Form. Note that a doctor or certified medical professional is required to sign and complete this form. Please review it carefully.

MealTime’s upgraded version of the Apply Online web service, MealTime Apply Online 2.0, is a comprehensive online application system that streamlines the process of applying for meal benefits, making it easier for families to access the support they need. Apply Online 2.0 is user-friendly, easily accessible, and compliant with federal regulations.

School Nutrition Wellness Committee
All members of the Drew Charter School community are invited to attend and participate in our School Nutrition Wellness Committee meetings. The committee meets annually to review our current policy and suggest policy changes.
