Supporting the Drew Community

When Drew Charter virtually kicked off the 2020-2021 school year on August 3rd, it represented a new beginning for our school.  The past six months have been all about being flexible, focusing on priorities, and taking care of ourselves and each other.  Through the culmination of hundreds of hours of hard work by everyone at Drew, the dedication of our students, and the amazing support by you – our school community - we have settled in to a “new normal.”

And yet, we recognize the challenges many continue to face as a result of COVID-19.  As such, since March 13, 2020, all funds raised through the Drew Opportunity Fund have been directed to address pressing needs of our school community during this difficult time.  Thanks to your generosity we have been able to meet close to 200 support requests including assistance with groceries, utilities, rent, mental health counseling, and in-person virtual learning support/childcare.

When you make a tax-deductible donation to the Drew Opportunity Fund, you help to ensure we can continue to respond to the ever-changing needs of our students, teachers, and families.  Whether it is supporting new learning models for students, offering professional enrichment for staff, or continuing to provide support to families, every gift - no matter the size - makes a difference and is truly appreciated.
Thank you for your support and generosity.  Together, #WeAreDrew
