Supporting Drew Families in Need

Drew Charter School kicked off the 2020-2021 school year (virtually) on August 3, 2020.  The first day represented a new beginning for our students and teachers, and was also a culmination of hundreds of hours of hard work by everyone at Drew.  However, Drew realizes that many of our families continue to face challenges as a result of COVID-19, school/childcare closures, unemployment, housing instability, etc.  Since March 13, all funds raised through the Drew Opportunity Fund have assisted families who need it most during this time of uncertainty, be it through grocery deliveries, utilities assistance, or connections to community resources.

In order to help support the Drew community, the Drew Opportunity Fund continues to raise funds in order to response to the ever-changing needs of our students, teachers, and families.  Please make a gift today and know that your donation will support the cost of childcare, mental health services, food/utilities assistance, supply needs, academic support, etc.

Thank you for your support and generosity.  Together, we are #eaglestrong.

If you or another Drew family is experiencing hardship due to the unforeseen closure, please contact your grade level counselors or Akil Rashid, Drew’s social worker.  His email address is akil.rashid@drewcharterschool.org and his phone number is (731) 236-0258.
