Drew Charter School's Information Technology (IT) Department provides and maintains robust, secure, and user-friendly technology resources that support our school community's educational and administrative needs. We aim to foster an environment where technology enhances teaching, learning, and administrative efficiency.
Core Functions
Our staff provides support for hardware and software issues, offers training and resources for teachers, staff, and students, and manages and resolves technical problems in a timely manner. We also support teachers in integrating technology into their curriculum and offer training sessions on educational software and tools. We facilitate the use of interactive whiteboards, projectors, and other classroom technologies.
Our school’s network, infrastructure, servers, and database are well maintained while ensuring reliable internet access. We implement network security measures to protect data and privacy for our student and staff information. The department oversees the acquisition and deployment of hardware and software. Ensure all technology purchases align with the school's strategic goals and maintain asset management.
